DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS

The Department aims to train students in applied areas of Mathematics. The Department supports for teaching mathematical subjects in Computer Science Department, Management Department, Bio chemistry department and other B.Voc degree Programmes. The major topics are Probability &statistics, Operations Research, Bio-statistics, Research Methodology and Statistics. The department aims to train students in the development and applications of Statistical techniques for analyzing data arising in the scientific investigation of problems in various disciplines. It also provides first hand practical experience in handling modern statistical software packages in the analysis of such data.
